Weiser business trick or treat

The Weiser Chamber of Commerce will host the annual business trick or treat on Monday, Oct. 31 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. About 45 local businesses will be  handing out candy. Come inside with your ghoulies, get some candy, and take a look around.

Spook-Tacular Playday

The Weiser Valley Roundup will sponsor a Spook-Tacular Playday on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Fred Hust Arena. Sign-ups begin at 9 a.m. with the event to begin at 10 a.m. It is open to all riders and their horses, which will be dressed up for the occasion. Cost is $10 per individual event, $35 for all events, $5 arena fee and $20 for a second horse. Individual events include a hatchet race, boo barrels, the witches broom, pumpkin jump and headless horseman. There will also be a costume contest and carved pumpkin contest. Midvale Lions Club fundraiser dinner

Midvale Lions Club will have a fundraiser dinner on Nov. 8 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 40 Superior Street in Cambridge. There will be soup, rolls, cornbread muffins and a drink all for $10.
