Two Weiser graduates earn berths to NAIA National Wrestling tourney

Darrian Hoobery a 2019 graduate of Weiser High School represented Weiser and his college, Eastern Oregon University this past weekend in the wrestling arena.  

 Hoobery wrestled while in high school and then at Missouri Valley College and for the past two years at Eastern Oregon.  

 Darrian wrestled in the Northwest Collegiate Conference Tournament this past weekend and earned a berth to the NAIA National Wrestling tournament in Kansas. 

 Kaleb Grove, a recent 2024 Weiser High School graduate also wrestled this weekend for Northwestern College for their regional tournament in Nebraska.  

 Kaleb is a true freshman who earned a berth to the NAIA National Wrestling tournament in Kansas.  

 Congratulations to two former Wolverines representing Weiser well.
