Vote to protect Medicaid Expansion

Dear editor,
 This letter is in reference to the Idaho Legislatures bill proposal H138 to repeal Medicaid Expansion, which passed with a 38 to 32 vote in the House on Friday, Feb. 21, at the State House.

Dear Editor,
 Weiser, ldaho is probably like many small towns in America, although ldaho does seem to hold some high and low rankings when the data is compared to other states. 
 Last week, as part of a news story about a bill in the ldaho Legislature, it was stated that ldaho has the fewest doctors per capita practicing.

Pi Day Pie Sale to benefit Angel Riders

 A Pi Day Pie Sale for Angel Wings Network, Inc. Angel Riders will be held March 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 773 W. Main St. Choose from a variety of pies and other desserts. Red Cross Blood Drive

 A Red Cross blood drive will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 300 East Main St., on Tuesday, March 11 from noon to 6 p.m. Donors will receive a $10 gift card and a free A1C test.

Busy Bee Chili and Soup Feed

 Chili and Soup Feed will be served on Sunday, March 9 from noon to 3 p.m. Come enjoy homemade chili and varied soups, cornbread, cake and beverages, in the Historic Saling School (Mann Creek area).
