Not in favor of Midvale truck stop

Dear Editor
 Perhaps I waited too long to weigh in on the proposed zoning change near Midvale, allowing the development of a truck stop/convenience store, etc., but I think a little common sense is all that’s required to understand why this development should NOT be approved.

Wow! Talk about realizing that you’re old! I survived my 50th High School Class Reunion this last weekend. 
 It was great to see the people I had spent my high school years going to classes, playing sports, playing in band, and just plain goofing around with.

 Sally Stirling Baker, 80, of Weiser, Idaho passed away on Sept. 7, 2023 at St. Alphonsus in Boise, Idaho. 
 Sally was born Feb. 21, 1943 in Washington, DC. The daughter of Robert and Maxine Smith. 
 She was raised in Weiser, Idaho and was a life-long Weiser Wolverine and supporter of the Weiser community.
 She married Joe Baker in 1968 in Gulf Port, Mississippi. Their son Michael was born in 1977.
