Historic Preservation committees to meet

 The joint City of Weiser/Washington County Historic Preservation Commissions meeting will be held Monday, March 4 at 4 p.m. in the commissioners meeting room located in the basement of the courthouse. Items to be discussed: An update on progress at the Billings Gym by the Boys and Girls Club;  zoning change recommendation, updates on grants, and reports on other projects such as digital access to historic Signal American newspapers. The Weiser Architectural Preservation Committee, Inc. Board meeting will follow at 5 p.m. Agenda items include model railroad exhibit planned for Fiddle Week at the depot, events calendar, new displays and garden tour planned at the depot among other events.
