Weiser High School celebrates Homecoming week

Weiser High School’s 2026 Homecoming court nominees are, front row from left, Ashley Seay, Avery Palmer Sofie Funkhouser, Kayleigh Frasier, and Claramae Olsen. Back row, from left, Garrett Walker, Zayn Crossley, Klete Cook, Ty Cobb, and Wyatt Black. The queen and king will be elected through a student vote on Tuesday, and a coronation is set for Thursday morning at Weiser High School, followed by the annual Homecoming Parade beginning at 1 p.m. The parade will conclude at Memorial Park, with a powder puff football game to follow.

Monday’s kick off to Homecoming Week at Weiser High School included a ‘Color Wheel’ dress up day, with seniors in black, juniors in pink, sophomores in purple, and freshmen in blue. The 4th hour assembly included leaders from each fall sport reporting on their season, and a pair of competitions between the classes. The first game was a balloon pop, with one class member sitting in a chair and another racing down the gym and jumping on the balloon in the sitter’s lap. The second game was a box stack, where the students found the boxes that spelled out the class name, and then which one could stack it the highest without it tipping over.
