Joe Malay's annual golf camp had 74 young golfers participate

A total of 74 young Weiser-area golfers, ages 7-16, spent June 1, 2 and 4, 5 at Rolling Hills Golf Course for Joe Malay’s annual golf camp. Malay was supported by assistant coaches Dee Kressly, Woody Woodcock, and Kevin Sylvester. Malay has helped develop young golfers for over 35 years at Rolling Hills and throughout the state, as a co-founder of the Idaho Youth Golf Association in 1997. The IYGA and Idaho Golf Association are partners in the Idaho Junior Tour, serving hundred of Idaho’s youngest golfers in multiple championship and nine-hole divisions. The summer camp wrapped up on Friday, with awards for the players.
