Kenneth Clare Perkins

On Jan. 28, 2026, Kenneth Clare Perkins passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 85. 

 Kenneth was cherished as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Above all, he was a dedicated follower of our savior Jesus, living his life guided by faith and devotion.

 Kenneth was born to Everett and Claudine (Teal) Perkins on a farm north of Ontario, Oregon on May 4, 1940. His early years, on the farm in Ontario, then outside of Vale, Oregon taught him work ethic, which carried on through his automotive career, Kenneth also went out of his way to always be there for the elderly and would stop work whenever they called for help. 

 Kenneth married his high school sweetheart Susan Kessler, and they had three children, David, Danny and Debra. In 1977 Kenneth remarried to Myrna (Broadbent) Perkins and helped raise her daughter Lori Conrad. 

 Kenneth worked in the automotive field as a mechanic, salesman and auto detailer before retiring in the Weiser, Idaho area.

 Kenneth loved to sing and put on many local concerts. He loved and was loved by his many grandchildren and organized Christmas gatherings to get everyone together for pizza parties. His other great family gatherings were at the Water’s Edge Resort in Cascade, Idaho.

 Kenneth is survived by his brothers Don and Tom, son Danny, daughter Debra, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Everett and Claudine Perkins, his brothers Jim, Bob and Roger, his sister Sandra, his stepdaughter Lori, his son David, his wife Myrna and granddaughter Danielle. 

 A small memorial, per his wishes, is pending for the Spring.
