Roland Gerson

 After a strong, brave battle with cancer, Roland Gerson peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones on the afternoon of Feb. 6, 2026.

 Roland was an amazing artist. From being a talented custom goldsmith, musician, horseman, and blacksmith, he was extremely creative. 

 Roland also took great pride in being a United States Veteran. He served in Vietnam as a Navy Seal.

 Roland was a devoted, loyal husband and friend. He was an outspoken man, who had a great sense of humor.

 Roland is survived by his wife Barbara J. Gerson (BJ), extended family; John and Diane Parker of Baltimore, Maryland, Kevin Parker of Weiser, Idaho, Charlotte (Charlie) and Rick Ensley of Junction City, Ore., as well as granddaughters Kaylyn Hansen, Shelby Hansen, Danielle Hansen, and Ella Nute, all of Junction City, Ore., and Shannon Parker of Maryland.

 In lieu of flowers, Roland’s wish was for donations be made in his honor to Wounded Warriors.
