Ronnie Nolan Garner

 Ronnie Nolan Garner passed away on Aug.  27, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and many lifelong friends. 
 He was born to George and Ida Garner on April 29, 1947 in Ontario, Ore. He grew up in Midvale, Idaho.
 He resided in Midvale for 20 years, where he met his high school sweetheart, Pam Perryman, and they married on June 29, 1968. They shared 57 years of marriage and two children, Kimberly and Shane. 
 Ronnie was a hardworking man. He joined the National Guard for 2 years before moving to Weiser, Idaho, to work for Les Schwab. He then transitioned into a career with the City of Weiser, where he retired in 2012.
 He leaves behind eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with them all. He delighted in watching their basketball, football, and soccer games. He also enjoyed his camping, fishing, and floating down the Salmon River trips, summer visits, buffets, family barbecues, and apple pie. He cherished making cookies and candy for holidays. 
 He always received so many beautiful “Van Gogh” prints from his grandkids that he adorned upon his fridge.
 He was affectionately known as: Grandpa, Papa Ron, and “The Old Man.” Ronnie was a kind hearted individual whom loved his pets, gardening, and building projects. He will forever be missed. 
 He was met by promised arms of his daughter Kim. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gary, and his two sisters Noma and Bev.
 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 11 a.m. at the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home, 902 S. Main, Milton-Freewater, Ore.
