Brendan McKay Loudermilk

Brendan McKay Loudermilk was liberated from this Earthly life on April 13, 2023. He proved himself worthy of heroic status after a nearly three and a half year battle with cancer.
Brendan came into this world on May 29, 1992 as if birth were the easiest and most comfortable experience a newborn could have and, immediately, let us know he was going to take life by storm.
He grew up and attended school in Annex where he was surrounded by friends, learned to play the guitar and became the first second grader allowed to check Louis L’Amour books out of the school library. His love for reading and John Wayne movies made him a very imaginative and brave child. He believed he could live that old lifestyle and tried as often as possible throughout his childhood years.
Brendan continued to torment teachers and school officials and graduated from Weiser High School.
Brendan married Cora Wright in 2013. They began their careers and created a beautiful family together.
His career began that same year at the Washington County Sheriff’s Department where he continued to serve until the moment his body would no longer allow him to do so. Serving his community and working with his fellow officers meant so much to him.
Brendan loved horses, the cowboy lifestyle, the mountains, hunting and fishing and the people he surrounded himself with. He loved to laugh, voice his opinions and get into any shenanigans possible.
He is survived by his wife, Cora, his children, Paxsen, Owen, Olivia and McKaytee, his mother, Jeanette Bates, his father, David Loudermilk and his siblings, Tyler, Adrian, Lorinda, Rikki and Ryan.
Public services will be held on Saturday, April 29 at 11 a.m. at the Vendome Events Center in Weiser.
