Thomas H. ‘Tom’ Irving

 Thomas H. “Tom” Irving was born on Dec. 10, 1928 in Emmett, Idaho to parents, Thomas and Grace (Johnson) Irving. 

 He died on Aug. 19, 2023 at his home in Stanfield, Ore. at the age of 94 years. 

 He was raised in Emmett, Idaho. 

 Tom was united in marriage to Sybil Widner on May 23, 1954 in Midvale, Idaho. They lived in Payette, Idaho before moving to Echo, Ore. in 1976 and later settling in Stanfield, Ore. in 1983 where he has lived since. 

 Tom worked for Eagle Ranch until retiring at the age of 90 years. 

 He enjoyed woodworking, watching the Seattle Mariners, camping, bowling and playing cards.

 He is survived by his daughter: Gloria Rossi, Hermiston, Ore.; sons: Gordon Irving and his wife Barbara, Stanfield, Ore. and Bruce Irving and his wife Deanne, Ione, Ore.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years: Sybil Irving; his parents; a son-in-law: Frank Rossi; three brothers: Jack, George and Bill and three sisters: Dorothy, Katherine and Maryetta.

 A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Midvale Eastside Cemetery, Midvale, Idaho.
