Linda Jean Ellwood

Linda Jean Ellwood was a daughter, a sister, a mother, and most importantly, a grandma, or how she liked to be called, Gram.
She was born on July 10, 1964, in Ontario, Ore. She graduated from Weiser High School in 1984 and resided in Weiser, Idaho, for 60 years.
In 1997, she had her only child, Joseph Ellwood. As a single mother, she decided to start up her very own cleaning service. On top of her cleaning service, she also worked at Bo’s Barn off and on for 30 years.
In 2024, she moved to Hurricane, Utah, and lived there for nine months, and loved the scenery. Then, at the end of August, beginning of September 2025, she finally made it to Texas, as it was her dream to live in Texas. A short five months later, on Jan. 30, 2026, she passed away very suddenly from kidney cancer, which had metastasized throughout her body.
Linda is survived by Joseph Ellwood, Steve Ellwood, Paul Ellwood, Greta Sinclair, Rosemary (Roz) Bohannon, Gary Ellwood, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by James Ellwood, Beverly Ellwood, Hayes Ellwood, and Scott Ellwood.
There will be a memorial service for Linda on March 7, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Weiser, Idaho behind the post office.
