Howl-o-Ween

The Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Contest is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 23 at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park in Weiser. The event, in affiliation with St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and sponsored by Marbella, is a fundraiser led by CASPR (Canines And Special Pet Rehoming) and Felines Needing Purrfect Homes to benefit a future, and much-needed, Washington County dog and cat shelter.

 Cost is $10 for all well-behaved pets on a leash. Participants will receive a digital photo of themselves with their pet and a treat. There will also be a parade, as well as prizes for best pet costumes, and “best” prizes for duo (owner and pet).
