Albert Alvarez

Albert Alvarez passed away in Weiser, Idaho, July 4, 2024 at the age of 88.

 Albert was born July 28, 1935. 

 Albert, along with his wife Elyssa, moved to Weiser following his three year Army tour of duty.

 After high school he went to Idaho Falls and took carpentry in college. He was an accomplished carpenter for years, then worked for the City of Weiser in the Water and Waste Water Department until age 65. He then was employed by the Forest Service until the age of 81.

 Albert and Elyssa were married 65 years, and those years were a joy being with family, camping with relatives at Goose Lake and Emigrant Springs on the Blue Mountains. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and going to the Oregon Coast with his brother and wife.

 Years ago Albert accepted the Lord as his Savior and he enjoyed reading his Bible, especially when he taught the adult Sunday School at Park Community Church.

 Albert is survived by his wife Elyssa, daughter Michalene and husband, Pat McMurray and their son Scott and wife, Terrie Alvarez.

 A memorial for Albert at Park Community Church will be held at a later date.
