WCRCC to hold candidate forum March 21

The Washington County Republican Central Committee is hosting a forum for all county primary election candidates at the Snake River Heritage Center tonight, March 21, at 7 p.m., according to WCRCC Chairman Kirk Chandler.
 The meeting is for county positions only, he said, adding that another forum for state Republican candidates is scheduled for Friday, March 22 at the Payette County Courthouse, at 1130 3rd Ave. N. in Payette, at 7 p.m.

Historic Preservation commissions to meet April 1

 The joint Washington County and City of Weiser Historic Preservation Commissions will meet at 4 p.m. on Monday, April 1, in the basement meeting room of the courthouse.  The Weiser Architectural Preservation Committee, Inc. monthly board meeting will follow promptly at 5 p.m.  The public is invited to attend either meeting in person or via zoom through the following link.   https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83137075515?pwd=bTR3UytFYWU4bk8rZDJwYkhPQ2ViQT09.

Community Sunrise Service

Weiser Church of the Nazarene Easter services

 The Weiser Church of the Nazarene will have a Good Friday Service on March 29 at 7 p.m. Breakfast will be served on Easter morning, March 31 at 9:30 a.m. with the service at 10:45 a.m.

Idaho Gives registration is open to nonprofits

 Registration for the Idaho Nonprofit Center’s annual Idaho Gives campaign will run through April 16, with its online, tax deductible giving dates set for April 29-May 2. Once the registration closes, the local area’s nonprofit organizations that have registered will be listed in a story in the Signal American.
