Weiser wrestlers win SRV Conference title

Published by admin on Wed, 02/13/2019 - 4:14pm
The Weiser Wolverines are the Snake River Valley Conference champions after defeating rival Fruitland for the title last Wednesday night.
This dual was one that everyone was waiting for throughout this season. Weiser was defeating teams with about the same point spread as Fruitland was, so this dual was the meeting of the giants. This particular dual is always strategy filled and was no exception Wednesday night.
Clayton Beesley got the go-ahead nod to wrestle at 152 pounds, moving Brody von Brethorst and Trae Gluch up a position as well.

Well, just when you thought spring was on the way. It was a good weekend, even with a little snow on the ground. Just like everyone else I was glad to break out the snowblower at least once this year.
After snowmaggedon a couple of years ago, we just sat back last year and wondered when we could use it again.
