Weiser Public Library offers more than books

To the Editor,
The Weiser Public Library is one of our community’s most valuable resources, and we, as the Library Board of Trustees, are proud to support the incredible work happening there every day and want to make the public aware.
Our library is more than just a place to check out books, it is a warm, welcoming gathering place where people of all ages can learn, connect, and grow.
Throughout the year, the library offers a wide variety of programs to serve our community. Children and teens can participate in engaging STEM and art classes, story times, and summer reading programs that encourage a love of reading, with fun prizes for kids and adults alike. The library also hosts holiday events such as Halloween story night, festive open houses, and craft fairs that bring friends and neighbors together to celebrate.
In addition to programs inside the library, a new outdoor Little Library now
makes books available to everyone at any time, free of charge. Inside, patrons can enjoy book clubs, ongoing puzzles, and other activities designed to bring our community closer together. New programming also includes monthly teen takeover nights for ages 13-18 full of games, food, movies, and more.
The Weiser Public Library is a wonderful example of our city’s resources at work, providing education, enrichment, and connection to all who walk through its doors. We invite everyone to stop by, take part in a program, or simply spend time in this special community space. To learn more about ongoing programming, stop by and see us or check us out on Facebook and Instagram. We hope to see you soon!
Sincerely,
The Weiser Public Library Board of Trustees
