Weiser FFA chapter to host appreciation breakfast

The Weiser High School FFA chapter will be showing their love for their hometown with the annual Community Appreciation Breakfast on Feb. 27 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
This event has been held for some time and gives the FFA chapter students the opportunity to mingle, connect and show their gratitude to the people that support them endlessly, said Weiser High School Agriculture teacher and FFA advisor Robi Salisbury.
“It’s just a ‘thank you’ to the community,” said Salisbury. “I just want them to know that we really do appreciate them.”
The chapter will provide a free breakfast of hash browns, pancakes, eggs, sausage, ham, and more and is an open invitation to the entire Weiser community. With a home that provides so much support, Salisbury said that several of the students involved with FFA are involved in other activities and often have the opportunity to see firsthand the extensive help provided by community members. The students are always excited to provide any act of gratitude to the individuals who provide so much support, with the Weiser FFA officer team often brainstorming other activities to say “thank you,” said Salisbury.
