Washington County Fair Grand Champions

Jace Mink, Cambridge FFA, exhibited the 1,553-pound Grand Champion steer, purchased by Fairchild Farms, Scott and Mandi Fairchild, for $5.75 per pound.

Paige Pedevilla, Mann Creek 4-H, exhibited the Grand Champion meat rabbit project, selling the three rabbits for $500 to Select Properties, represented by Rod Panike, at Saturday’s livestock auction. Paige’s brother, Ayden, is also pictured.

Waylon Brassfield, Echo Dell 4-H, exhibited the 138-pound Grand Champion market lamb, purchased by Pearson Well Drilling, Heidi Pearson, for $10.25 per pound.

Anneslee Grooms, Indianhead 4-H, 276-pound Grand Champion market hog was purchased by Roe’s Custom Meats, Brian Roe, for $8 per pound. Anneslee’s sister, Paisley is also pictured.

Cale Brassfield, Weiser FFA, exhibited the 2024 Grand Champion goat. Weiser Memorial Hospital’s Kasey Davis bought the 94-pound goat for $11.80 per pound. Younger siblings, Reagan and Waylon are also pictured.
