Magnolia House Salon and Spa to celebrate grand opening

The Magnolia House Salon and Spa is now open at 190 E. Main Street. The full service salon offers hair color, cuts, pedicures, manicures, nails, eyelash extensions, perms, men and kid cuts, massage, waxing, brow tinting, Brazilian blowouts and much more.
Owner of the Magnolia House, Allison Gamble, has been in the cosmetology industry for over 20 years. After training in Boise and Portland. Gamble moved to Weiser for the first time in 2007.
She moved to Utah for a few years in 2011, but she found that her clientele was so loyal and special, that she continued to drive back and forth every 6 weeks to serve her most loyal clients. In 2018, Gamble had the opportunity to move back to Weiser, and has been so grateful to be back.
“Weiser feels like home. I grew up in a small town and I like how people matter to one another in small towns. There’s a strong emphasis on community involvement,” Gamble said.
Allison had been encouraged to open her own salon for a number of years,  but it wasn’t something she could envision, until a new client showed her the property that was for sale on E. Main Street. Once she saw it,  she knew it had the potential to be the perfect space and she felt like the opportunity had found her. She worked on remodeling the space for several months.
The name Magnolia House is inspired by her southern roots. Gamble was raised in  Georgia. The magnolia  tree is very popular there. The magnolia tree is said to symbolize endurance and strength. For Gamble, the magnolia blossoms show that there is beauty in simplicity.
Gamble hopes that Magnolia House will provide the community of Weiser a place where they can feel welcomed, taken care of, and uplifted. Her goal is for the Magnolia House to be a place where her clients always leave looking and feeling their best.
The staff at Magnolia House also includes beauty and wellness professionals, Sarah Yokum, Anabelle Frederick, and Megan Alder.
Yokum is a cosmetologist specializing in color, cuts, facial waxing pedicures, and acrylic nails. She loves pizza, Dr. Pepper, gardening, crime shows and Home Improvement. Yokum is also a loving wife and mother who strives to have fun in all that she does.
Frederick, is the owner of B&B Esthetics. She offers eyelash extensions, brow tinting, and waxing. She specializes in sustainable healthy extensions and creating the perfect brow look for each client. Her new space is known for its relaxing, calm atmosphere with a memory foam lash bed and some of her favorite house plants.
Alder, is the owner of Revitalize Massage Therapy. She offers a variety of modalities including deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal, trigger point, and cupping. Megan loves to be able to help take stress away and ease your pain.  Alder wants clients to understand that massage is a great way to not only help with stress, but can also help with pain relief, and muscle health and rejuvenation.
Magnolia House is hosting their grand opening June 24 from 3 p.m. to 6 pm. The community is welcome. See the building and enjoy refreshments. Book an appointment or buy product to be entered into a raffle to win a basket worth over $400 of products and services.
