Frances Irene Elliott

Frances Irene Elliott went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
Irene was born Aug. 9, 1938 in Booneville, Missouri. She was the oldest of 3 kids, born to William Virgil Mabrey and Frances Allan Rose.
She married LaVarr Ralph Elliott on April 15, 1955 in Kennewick, Wash. She always said that she got the pick of the litter, he was the best husband she could have ever hoped for. They were blessed with 69 years of marriage.
To this union three children were born, Larry Gene, Julie Kathaleen and Tod William.
Our mother was a great singer and a gifted song writer (writing close to 100 songs, both country and gospel). She received a BMI certificate for one of her songs, “The Angel You See.” Our mom also won a contest, placing first out of 100 people. Her songs were loved by many professional musicians and singers as well as the average listener. She co-wrote songs with professional writers as well as her son Larry and her grandma Rose.
She loved the Lord with all her heart and she was loved by many and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her children Larry Elliott, Julie Hart and Tod Elliott. 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren with another one due in July.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life LaVarr, her parents Virgil and Frances Mabrey, brother Virgil and sister Elsie, brothers-in-law Elvin and Gene, sister-in-law Betty, son-in- law Ed Hart, two nieces Kari Ann and Tina, one grandson Robert Gene Elliott, one great-grandson Cartwright Hart and one great-great-grandson Tate Deines.
