Cool treats in summer heat

Kids enjoyed Rocket Pops as they watch the annual Fourth of July parade that took place last Thursday in Midvale. The parade started at Midvale School and ended at the Church of Christ. A barbecue took place immediately following the colorful spectacle. Three different inflatable slides kept kids occupied while they waited for their meal, some choosing to cool off at the Midvale pool, which offered a day of free swimming for area youth.
