Cindy Ann (Scharbrough) Norris

Cindy Ann (Scharbrough) Norris was born Nov. 20, 1962 to Robert and Joyce Scharbrough in Sacramento, Calif.
Her family later moved to Weiser, Idaho in 1969 where she was raised.
It was there that she grew to love horses, the outdoors, camping and fishing.
Cindy married and divorced Michael Blair.  Together they had three children. She later married Jack Norris where she accepted a new son with open arms.
Cindy was very proud of her six grandchildren, Darius, Terrence, Jamiil, Braxton, Lilly,  and Christain, and loved them with all of her heart. They are her living legacy.
She loved her family, extended family and friends whom she would give her all. Fishing with Tuffy, her late dog and best friend of 15 years, was one of her favorite passtimes.
Cindy loved to laugh, listen to music, tell stories and jokes (even if they weren’t very funny).
She worked at the Worm Factory for 12 years and loved, Paul and April, the people she worked for.
The end of August Cindy was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She was a fighter and was determined to beat it. It broke all of her loved one’s hearts when she passed away three short weeks later on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019 at the age of 56.
We will miss her smile, humor, and tenacity.
Cindy is survived by her daughter Amanda and son-in-law Darnelle; her son Kevin and daughter-in-law Sarah; her son Jimmy; her 6 grandchildren; her siblings, Terri, Dennis, and Alison; her best friend and cousin Candee; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Bob and Joyce, and her son, Joshua.
Her celebration of life will be held Oct. 19, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Weiser Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 1299 E. 2nd St., Weiser, ID  83672. A potluck will follow the service.
